teaching:

Currently I teach the Introduction to Vertebrate Developmental Biology and Introduction to Vertebrate Histology courses at Mount Saint Vincent University.  In the past I have taught Human Anatomy and Physiology.  I also train future scientists by supervising undergraduate and graduate students and post-docs in my research lab. Undergraduates can take a Directed Research course or do an Honours thesis under my supervision. I also frequently hire undergraduate students over the summer months to work in my research lab. Since I have a strong passion for inspiring girls to consider careers in Science-related fields, I lead a number of outreach initiatives through my WISEatlantic program.
